Global stand-up comedy superstar, Russell Peters is set to perform at Dubai’s newest indoor entertainment destination, Dubai Arena in City Walk.
The artist’s show will be the first ever to be staged at the Dubai Arena on 6 June. Pegged as the largest indoor arena of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa region, the new entertainment venue has the capacity to accommodate 17,000 visitors.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai paid a visit to the Dubai Arena on Monday, 1 April and said that government supports all those projects that are aligned with ‘Dubai’s Tourism Vision 2020' that aim to attract 25 million tourists a year by 2025.
With this tour, the multi-award winning comedian will bring his ‘Deported World Tour’ to Dubai this summer
The Deported World Tour kicked off in Australia and New Zealand in February 2018. It has already travelled to over 29 cities in 20 countries and been seen by over 100,000 fans worldwide.
It will not be Russell Peters' first trip to Dubai, the comedian has performed to sold out shows previously.
