Dubai To Get Nine New Bus Routes

Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced it is to add nine new bus routes to Dubai’s public bus service from Sunday, 7 April to meet growing passenger demands.

The expansion of bus routes aims to improve connection between bus and metro services as well as Dubai’s connectivity to Al Ain city.

The new Route 20 from Al Warsan 3 to Al Nahda via the Airport Terminal 2, will connect Rashidiya Metro Bus Station and International City.

Route E201 will run from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station to Al Ain Bus station and Route J02 will connect International Media Production Zone (IMPZ) with Arabian Ranches via Dubai Studio City.

Routes 20, E201 and J02 will have a frequency of 30 minutes during peak hours.

The fourth new bus Route 310 will connect Rashidiya Metro and International City bus station and the fifth new Route 320, which will run from Rashidiya Metro and Bus Station to Silicon Oasis/Academic City. Routes 310 and 320 will run with a frequency of 30 minutes during peak hours.

The sixth and seventh routes will serve as metro feeder services.

Route F34 links Dubai Internet City Metro Station to Dubai Production City via IMPZ and Route F37 links Mall of the Emirates Metro Station with Dubai Sports City with a frequency of 20 minutes during peak hours.

The eighth route, the E31 will run from Etisalat Metro Station to Muwaileh Bus Station in Sharjah, and the ninth route, the E316 will run from Rashidiya Metro Station to the University of Sharjah (Airport Road Interchange).
