The second edition of the Gov Games returns from 3-6 April, 2019.
The competition comprises of teams from various Dubai Government departments, Government departments from other emirates and the UAE Federal Government, as well as international participants from major cities across different continents.
The first Gov Games was won by the F3 team led by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. This year again, the F3 team has announced that His Highness Sheikh Hamdan will lead them from the front.
Gov Games is an initiative of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan. The theme of the competition is ‘One Team, One Spirit’ to highlight the teamwork needed to achieve excellence in the professional and sporting arenas. The theme also reflects the progress made by the Government of Dubai in recent years to encourage citizens and residents to pursue active lifestyles through a series of society-wide programmes, initiatives and incentives.
Gov Games 2019 is open to the public to witness teams going through the gruelling obstacle course.
