One of the world’s largest stock exchanges Nasdaq (National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotations) has paid tribute to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, for 50 years of leadership.
Nasdaq building in New York's Times Square, has installed a huge mural of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s face to show respect towards his achievements over the last 50 years.
Nasdaq’s Twitter account in Arabic said, “We extend our dedication to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Thank you for your 50 years in serving the nation.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid was appointed head of Dubai Police and Public Security in 1968, and three years later became the UAE Defence Minister.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid served as Crown Prince of Dubai from 1995 - 2006, and on 4 January 2006, became the Ruler of Dubai.
