With New Years Eve and New Years Day less than one week away, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced a revised schedule to all its services for the two days over the holiday period.
For users of the Dubai Metro, the Red Line will start at 5am on the 31 December and the Green Line at 5.30am, with both running up to midnight on 1 January. The Dubai Tram will run from 6am on 31 December, up to 1am on 2 January.
For those wanting to travel around by water, the Water Bus will run from 10am to 8pm on 31 December at the Marina stations, and from midday to midnight on 1 January. If you are gong to be around the Creek area and want to get across using one of the traditional abras, they will be running from 7am until 8pm on 31 December and from 10am until midnight in 1 January.
Parking will be free in all areas (except in multi-story parking) all day on 1 January.
