The government-run Al Asayel School’s students were in for a pleasant surprise on the first day of the new school term as they shared their classrooms with a royal ‘student’.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces not only toured the school property but also sat in the last row and attended the Mathematics and English-language lessons.
In a series of tweets posted on His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed’s twitter account, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi congratulates the students and encourages them to fulfil their aspirations.
In a press release, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan said, "Education is the best tool whereby we can chart fresh roadmaps for the betterment of our nation. Education has become the real bet for effecting a qualitative leap across all fields of development.”
