Not only will the UAE witness a ‘blood moon,’ lunar eclipse tomorrow evening, but we’re going to get the best view! Peaking at 11.30pm on Friday evening, the moon will turn red orange for more than 100 minutes, as opposed to usual 15-20 minute long eclipses.
The eclipse will be in view for a total of five hours - making it the longest of the century.
The 'blood moon' will be visible over Dubai skies on Friday 27 July at 9.14pm.
To witness the event in a setting like no other, Nakheel is hosting an evening where residents can lounge on beanbags and enjoy refreshments, watch movies and so much more at 2nd December Park, JVC.
The last ‘blood moon,’ occurred briefly in January of this year where Sheikh Hamdan shared these incredible images.
