Dubai has been ranked as one of the most preferred cities to work among expatriates by a new study.
The study, ‘Decoding Global Talent 2018’, conducted by the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and The Network has placed Dubai at sixth place, with 12% of respondents willing to make a move to Dubai for work. The emirate came ahead of Los Angeles (11 percent), Paris (11 percent), Sydney (9 percent) and Tokyo (8 percent).
Top 5 cities include New York (16 percent), Berlin (15 percent), Barcelona (15 percent) and Amsterdam (14 percent).
The capital city, Abu Dhabi has secured 14th spot in the list.
According the report, Dubai rose five places in the ranking when compared to the similar study conducted in 2014. Overall, 57 percent respondents said they would be willing to move abroad for work, a 7 percent decrease over the last time the study was conducted in 2014.
The survey spoke to 366,000 workers and 6,000 recruiters in 197 countries worldwide.
