Global Village Has Caught Fire

UPDATE: Dubai Media Office posted a tweet saying that firefighters were working to extinguish the blaze.

With no injuries reported, the fire was extinguished.

The cause of the fire is unknown.

According to an eyewitness, Dubai’s Global Village has reportedly caught fire.

The attraction is currently not open to the public but it is undergoing renovations in preparation for its annual opening at the end of this year.

The fire looks to be in the Chinese Pavillion section of the park.

Officials have not yet confirmed the incident and more details will follow once they emerge.
