Fly Dubai has followed Emirate’s and has launched its own home check-in and baggage collection service. From Monday, passengers flying with Fly Dubai, a low cost airline in Dubai, can check-in for their flights from the comfort of their homes and can travel to airports baggage free.
Customers can book the services from 24 hours and up to 4 hours before flight departure. A check-in agent will come to your house, print your boarding pass and will deliver your baggage to the airport. With this new service, customers will be able to skip long queues at the airport and can go directly to the immigration desk.
The service also includes collection of hand baggage, which will be delivered to you before you board the plane. Also, if you are arriving in Dubai, you have the option to have your bags collected from the luggage belt and have them delivered to your home.
The service starts at a standard price of Dhs110 for one bag, while the belt pick-up starts at Dhs 99. However, customers can avail a 30 percent discount in the month of June as part of an introductory offer. The service for one bag is priced at Dhs 77, two bags at Dhs154 and three bags at Dhs 209. Every additional bag will cost Dh28.
