Increases in high school fees every year have been an ongoing concern for many parents in the UAE.
In order to ease the financial burden on parents, the Council meeting held on Wednesday put a freeze on school fees for 2018-2019. Under the new initiative, private schools are not allowed to increase the school fees during the next academic year. The Council’s meeting was chaired by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai.
" Finally, we ordered an immediate freeze on the tuition fees of all private schools in Dubai for the coming academic year (2018-2019), in order to reduce the financial burden on parents.," Sheikh Hamdan tweeted.
