A heavy dust storm hit the city on Sunday morning, with strong winds sweeping dust across the roads and creating tricky conditions for commuters.
National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has advised the public to take extra care on the roads and has predicted poor visibility across the country throughout the day due to wide spread dust in the air
NCM also has also advised the public to avoid exposure to dust where possible, especially those that suffer from asthma and other allergies.
NCM has forecasted the dust particles to fill the air over most areas of the country.
The minimum temperature today will range from 22.5 degree to 26.8 degree.
In today’s weather report, NCM stated that moderate to fresh winds will blow dust and sand over most areas, especially exposed areas, with poor visibility. The sea will be moderate to rough in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman sea.
