A deal has been announced to construct a new Hyperloop between Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport. The new Hyperloop system will reduce the journey time between two airports to under 10 minutes and as low as 6 minutes.
The airports are 65 kilometres apart and it takes 45 minutes to commute between two on a good traffic day. The announcement came during a panel discussion on Monday at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) about the future of Hyperloop and travel infrastructure in the UAE and GCC.
Though we do not have a confirmed date of when the Hyperloop system will be introduced, it seems like it is a hot topic in the UAE at the moment. In Febraury this year, further details on the Hyperloop travel between Dubai and Abu Dhabi came out, which will reduce the travel time between the capital and Dubai to12 minutes.
