The New Year begins with a new addition to Dubai's tourist attractions.
After a long wait, the Dubai Frame will officially open on 1 January 2018.
The new tourist attraction gives guests a 360-degree view of the transformation of Dubai. On one side is the view of modern Dubai, framing the Burj Khalifa and Emirates Tower, and on the other, is Dubai’s old city, Deira and Karama. The frame represents and unites the older and newer parts of Dubai, reminding visitors of Dubai’s progress and history.
The opening date was announced just days after ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum made a personal visit to the Frame with Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The two honourable guests were given the premier tour of the grand building and Sheikh Mohammed described it as an “elegant architectural feat”.
Not only does the Dubai Frame provide guests with an educational experience of Dubai’s history, but will exhibit Dubai’s innovative technology engaging guests through interactive displays.
Tickets are set to be priced at Dhs 50 for adults and Dhs 30 for children. Children under 3, people over 60 and people of determination will enter for free.
