Since becoming the president of the United States in January of this year, Donald Trump has been at the core of a lot of media attention.
Trump has now made a statement about his plans to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, with further plans to move the American Embassy there.
The Emirates News Agency, WAM, has since issued a statement from Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Jarman, Assistant Minister for Human Rights and International Law at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in response to the president’s plans.
The statement warns of "grave consequences” following the decision.
