Commuters, rejoice!
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced the changes to the business hours of its services in Dubai during the Prophet Mohammed’s Birthday, Commemoration Day and National Day holiday.
Customers Happiness Centers will be closed during the Prophet’s Birthday, Commemoration Day and National Day holiday from 30 November and resume back on 4 December.
Parking
All paid parking zones will be free across the emirate (except the multi-level parking lots) starting from 30 November and reactivate on 4 December.
Dubai Metro
On 30 November, Metro Red Line stations will operate from 5am to 1am. On 1 December, these stations will operate from 10am to 1am and on 2 and 3 December, they will operate from 5am to midnight.
On 30 November, Metro Green Line stations will operate from 5:30am to 1am. On 1 December, these stations will operate from 10am to 1:00 am and on 2 December and 3 December, they will operate from 5:30am to midnight.
Metro link bus stations (Rashidiya, Mall of the Emirates, Ibn Battuta, Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall, Abu Hail, and Etisalat) will be in service from 5am to 12:20am.
Dubai Tram
On 30 November, the Tram will operate from 6am to 1am. On 1 December, the Tram will operate from 9am to 1am and on 2 and 3 December, it will operate from 6am to 1am.
RTA buses
Main Bus Stations such as Gold Souk will operate from 5am to 12:29am. Al Ghubaiba Station will be in service from 5am to 12:10am. Sub-stations such as Satwa will start from 5am to 11:35pm except for Route C01, which operates, around-the-clock.
The bus service will run at Al Qusais Station from 4:30am to midnight, and at Al Quoz Industrial Station from 5am to 11:30pm. At Jebel Ali Station the service will start at 5am and continue up to midnight.
