Drivers who incurred a fine in 2016 will now be subject to a 50 per cent discount if they pay the fine before the end of 2017.
Dubai Police have reminded motorists of the offer in order to encourage more people to take advantage of the deal.
The discount does not cover any fines that were received in 2017. The payments can be made online, at banks across the region and RTA centres.
The 50 per cent discount will be deducted automatically upon payment. To mark the Year of Giving, the order was issued by Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
