This weekend is a celebration of sorts – it’s Eid, most residents have Thursday off (the lucky ones get Sunday off as well), temperatures will be lower on the weekend compared to the next week.
However, petrol prices will go up starting 1st of September, and there’s no reason to moan (because we’ve listed enough reasons to be happy).
The new prices are:
Super 98 unleaded gasoline – Dhs 2.01 per litre (preiously Dhs 1.89)
Special 95 unleaded gasoline – Dhs 1.90 per litre (previously Dhs 1.78)
E-Plus 91 unleaded gasoline – Dhs 1.83 per litre (previously Dhs 1.71)
Diesel (gas and oil) – Dhs 2.00 per litre (previously Dhs 1.88)
