Emirates Group Marks Emirati Women's Day

To celebrate Emirati Women's Day, Emirates’ multi-national employees came together today to share - in one word - what they felt were stand-out qualities of Emirati women. Expressed in 19 languages and highlighting a variety of inspiring traits, the one-minute video released on Emirates’ social media platforms encapsulates and illustrates the positive impact Emirati women have on those around them.

From bold and ambitious leaders, creative and confident innovators, to compassionate and dedicated mothers and teachers, Emirati women continue to contribute to the growth of the nation.

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive, Emirates Airline & Group, described Emirati Women as ‘Ideal’ in all aspects of life.

To show his appreciation and acknowledgment to their efforts, Sheikh Ahmed has also sent a personalised letter to each and every Emirati woman within the Emirates Group. He said: “On this special day, I’d like to extend my gratitude to each and every one of you for your contribution to the Emirates Group and to our country’s growth. Emirati women today have achieved significant milestones, challenging the norms in their careers while caring for our country’s next generations at home. Thank you for your diligence, dedication, contribution and commitment to this country.  I am confident that you’ll continue to be the pride of the nation, the ultimate role models to our children and an inspiration in the workforce."
