Dubai has surpassed cities across the world to be named the ‘healthiest’ location where UberEATS operates, according to a global poll conducted by the on-demand food delivery service. In fact, the results show that an encouraging 20 per cent of all orders from UberEATS in Dubai, were made from healthy restaurants, with the healthiest neighbourhoods in town being Business Bay, DIFC and Downtown.
As a nod to the top food trend of 2017, poke bowls are the most in-demand healthy dish. 25 per cent of all orders including salads, light stir fries and low calorie food bowls have been ordered from healthy and cafe restaurant categories, versus a modest 5-10 per cent of burger, pizza and other fast food options.
Following its launch almost one year ago, UberEATS Dubai now delivers from a network of over 800 restaurants.
