Dubai Health Authority (DHA) will be adopting smart services at its Medical Fitness Centres to allow customers to finish all their medical test procedures through one of the 40 DHA-approved typing centres.
Medical fitness tests—that include blood tests and x-rays—are a mandatory requirement for all expats in the UAE. It is required for a residency, employment or education visas.
Maisa Al Bostani, Director of the Medical Fitness Services Department at DHA, said the new system, which will be launched in August “will allow customers and companies to receive the results of medical fitness tests electronically without the need for a paper document.”
1,898,194 customers visited DHA’s Medical Fitness Centres in 2016.
Al Bostani added “with the new system, three main objectives will be achieved, which are improving the customer’s journey, reducing the waiting time and providing all the services needed in one place.”
