Emirates Issues Travel Advisory Ahead of July Summer Surge

Emirates

Emirates has issued travel advisory for passengers flying out of Dubai International Airport (DXB) Terminal 3 as the summer holiday rush officially begins. High passenger volumes are expected to spike significantly between 3 and 5 July, with outbound traffic remaining elevated throughout the month due to the start of the school holiday season.

To ensure a seamless journey, the Dubai-based airline advises all travellers to arrive at the airport at least three hours before their scheduled flight departure. Passengers must clear immigration control 90 minutes before takeoff and ensure they reach their designated boarding gates no later than one hour before departure, as arrival windows across Terminal 3 concourses are expected to tighten.

To bypass heavy road congestion leading up to the airport terminals, Emirates recommends residents utilise the Dubai Metro directly into Terminal 3.

Passengers are also encouraged to take advantage of digital channels, including the Emirates app and online check-in, which open 48 hours prior to departure, allowing travellers to download digital boarding passes and streamline their airport experience.
