Al Mamzar Beach has reopened in Dubai as of May 5, offering residents a refreshed seaside destination just in time for the warmer months.
Dubai Municipality has introduced a number of upgrades aimed at improving comfort and accessibility.
The upgrades include expanding the length of the shoreline to 3.6 kilometres, and introducing a 300 metre long night beach accessible 24 hours a day.
Al Mamzar Beach now also features the region’s first floating walkway and additional leisure facilities also include 5.5 kilometres of running, walking, and cycling tracks, an outdoor gym, beach volleyball court, and padel courts.
Visitors will notice enhanced changing rooms, more shaded seating areas and improved walkways connecting the beach and park.
Families can also expect better facilities, including upgraded children’s play areas and 19 food and beverage outlets, making the location more suitable for group outings.
The beach has also been made more inclusive, with added features to support people of determination. Safety measures have been strengthened through additional lifeguard stations and clearer signage across the area.
Al Mamzar Beach continues to be a popular choice for affordable outdoor leisure in Dubai, and the latest improvements are expected to attract more visitors over the coming months.
