Schools across the UAE will observe a mid-term break for Eid Al Adha from 25 to May 29, the Ministry of Education has announced.
The five-day holiday will apply to students, teachers and administrative staff in public and private schools.
The break comes just weeks before the end of the academic year, giving students a pause ahead of final assessments.
Classes will resume on 1 June.
The adjustment aligns with the UAE’s academic calendar and allows families to plan travel and celebrations during the Eid period, which with a weekend either sides means a 9 day holiday.
