His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, launches 'The Edge of Life' campaign.
The campaign aims to raise at least Dhs 1 million to rescue five million children worldwide from the threat of hunger.
The campaign has announced seven contribution channels that welcome the donations of both individuals and institutions during Ramadan. Here's how you can contribute:

- SMS: One-time donations can be made by sending the word “LIFE” to dedicated du and e& numbers as follows: SMS to 1034 to donate Dhs 10, to 1035 to donate Dhs 50, to 1036 to donate Dhs 100 and to 1038 to donate Dhs 500.
- Bank transfers: Direct bank transfers made to the campaign’s official Emirates Islamic Bank account number (IBAN: AE940340003708472909222)
- Dedicated call centre: Call on the toll-free number 8004999, available daily from 10 am to 5 pm
- DubaiNow app: Contributions can be made under the 'Donations' tab
- YallaGive.com: Contributions can be made under the 'Donations' tab
- Donations can be made via the Dubai community contributions platform - www.jood.ae - by launching mini-campaigns to encourage more people to join in
