Amateur golfers across the UAE are being given a chance to play alongside some of the world’s biggest golf stars at the DP World Tour Championship Pro-Am, thanks to the Pro-Am Challenge now underway at golf clubs across the Emirates.
The initiative is open to golfers holding an Official Club Handicap, which denotes their skill level, recognised by the Emirates Golf Federation. The challenge offers a rare opportunity to share the fairways with leading professionals at Jumeirah Golf Estates, during the final Rolex Series event of the season from 13 to 16 November.
Golfers can still sign up for the remaining four qualifiers taking place across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Ras Al Khaimah. The top male, female, and junior players from each qualifier will advance to the Grand Final at Jumeirah Golf Estates on 25 October, where the overall winners will earn a spot in the DP World Tour Championship Pro-Am on 11 November.
Last year’s winners, Russell Wilson, Suyeon Ko, and Antonio Perez, lived the dream, competing alongside well-known golf players such as Rory McIlroy, Tommy Fleetwood and others.
Golf enthusiasts are encouraged to contact their local golf club to register for this unforgettable opportunity to be part of one of the region’s most prestigious sporting events.
