Marking 'Breast Cancer Awareness Month' this October, free breast cancer screenings are more accessible than ever with the launch of eight fixed clinics across the UAE as part of the 'Pink Caravan' campaign.
The campaign, an initiative launched by the non-profit organisation 'Friends of Cancer Patients', underscores the critical role of early detection in saving lives and encourages the community to adopt regular health checks as part of proactive wellness practices.
The clinics are strategically located to ensure broad access: Al Majaz Waterfront in Sharjah, Khorfakkan Hospital and Mushrif Mall in Abu Dhabi, Mall of Al Ain, City Walk in Dubai, Umm Al Qaiwain Mall, RAK Mall in Ras Al Khaimah, and Lulu Mall in Fujairah.
Operating daily from 4pm to 10pm throughout the month, with Khorfakkan’s clinic open from 10am to 4pm, they provide convenient opportunities for residents to undergo screenings and engage in awareness activities.
