Dubai Airports has appointed three leading voices of inclusivity to strengthen its mission of making Dubai International Airport (DXB) the world’s most inclusive airport. The new strategic advisors include Paralympian Jessica Smith, Emirati disability rights pioneer Fatma Al Jassim, and the Dubai-based advocacy foundation Team AngelWolf.
The collaboration reflects a shift toward accessibility shaped by lived experience rather than infrastructure alone. By consulting with individuals who have dedicated their lives to inclusion, DXB aims to better understand the real challenges faced by People of Determination and implement solutions that reflect their needs.
Smith brings global expertise as a Paralympian and consultant, Al Jassim is recognised for advancing inclusion of People of Determination in the UAE, and Team AngelWolf is known for breaking barriers through inclusive sporting achievements.
DXB is already recognised as the world’s first international airport to be designated a Certified Autism Centre, with more than 53,000 employees trained in hidden disabilities practices. This new step reinforces Dubai’s ambition to become a global leader in accessibility, aligning with the city’s broader vision of being a disability-friendly destination.
