In a gesture of deep appreciation, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, issued a decree, granting golden visas to nursing staff at Dubai Health who have served the emirate for more than 15 years.
The initiative, announced in line with International Nurses Day on 12 May, recognises the long-standing dedication and essential contributions of nurses to Dubai’s healthcare system.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan praised the nurses, describing them as frontline partners in building a healthier society and commending their unwavering commitment to patient care and daily efforts to enhance community well-being.
The golden visa will grant eligible nursing professionals long-term residency in the UAE, offering greater security and stability as a token of gratitude for their vital role in improving public health.
This move is part of Dubai’s broader vision to value excellence, support healthcare professionals, and create a working environment where they feel empowered and appreciated.
