UAE Exchange Metro Station Renamed

Dubai Media Office

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has officially renamed the UAE Exchange Metro Station to Life Pharmacy Metro Station under a new ten-year agreement, effective from May.

Located near Jebel Ali Industrial Area, the station is the final stop on the Red Line in the Jebel Ali direction, coming after Danube Metro Station. The name change comes after a partnership between Life Pharmacy Group and Hypermedia, in collaboration with Mada Media, the official RTA concessionaire managing metro naming rights.

As part of the transition, all internal and external signage, online references, and digital system updates, including announcements, will be updated between May and August.

The renaming is part of RTA’s broader strategy to collaborate with private sector brands and generate long-term revenue while enhancing commuter experiences across Dubai’s transport network.

This is the second metro station to undergo a name change this year. In March, Al Khail Metro Station was rebranded to Al Fardan Exchange Metro Station, situated on the Red Line between Dubai Internet City and Sobha Realty stations.
