World’s Tallest Resort To Open In Dubai In 2028: All About The ‘Therme Dubai’ Project

Dubai is set to welcome the Middle East’s first-of-its-kind luxury wellbeing resort and interactive wellness park, Therme Dubai—a visionary project designed to enhance the quality of life for both residents and visitors.

Aligned with the UAE’s ‘Year of the Community’, this Dhs 2 billion project, developed in collaboration with global wellness leader Therme Group, will be located in Zabeel Park and is expected to open by 2028.

Approved by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, the project underscores Dubai’s commitment to becoming the world’s best city to live, work, and visit. The announcement was made under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and was also attended by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai.

Spanning an impressive 500,000 square feet and standing at 100 metres high, Therme Dubai will be the tallest wellness resort in the world, welcoming up to 1.7 million visitors annually.

Therme Dubai will redefine luxury wellness and leisure with an array of world-class facilities, including:

  • Natural therapeutic zones 
  • Diverse thermal pools and indoor and terrace pools covering 4,500 square metres
  • 15 waterslides 
  • Michelin-star restaurant 
  • Three stunning 18-metre waterfalls 
  • Experiential art installations
