Dubai motorists parking in Zone F areas will now face higher fees and longer paid hours, following a recent update by Parkin UAE. As of 1 February, paid parking in Zone F, which includes Al Sufouh 2, Knowledge Village, Dubai Media City and Dubai Internet City, now runs from 8am to 10pm, an extension from the previous 8am to 6pm schedule.
The revised rates start at Dhs 2 for 30 minutes and Dhs 4 for one hour, increasing to Dhs 32 for 24 hours. Previously, parking cost Dhs 2 per hour, significantly lower than the updated tariffs.
This change comes ahead of the Variable Parking Tariff Policy, set to roll out in March this year, which will introduce Dhs 6 per hour for premium spots and Dhs 4 per hour for standard spaces during peak hours (8am to 10am and 4pm to 8pm). Off-peak tariffs will remain unchanged, with free parking from 10pm to 8am and all day on Sundays.
Dubai’s parking zones, divided into A to K categories, have specific regulations and pricing structures, so drivers should stay updated to avoid fines.
