Expo City Dubai announces the public opening of the Expo 2020 Dubai Museum on 18 May, coinciding with International Museum Day. To commemorate this event, Expo City welcomes all visitors on 18 and 19 May with free admission to both the new museum and the city’s three Stories of Nations exhibitions. Additionally, guests can get a 50% discount on entry to other attractions including Alif, Terra, the Women’s and Vision Pavilions, and Garden in the Sky.
Honouring a remarkable event that demonstrated global collaboration and innovation, the Expo 2020 Dubai Museum provides a comprehensive exploration of the entire World Expo initiative. Featuring dynamic mixed-media displays and interactive content tailored for young audiences, the museum offers insights into the visitor experience and celebrates the spirit of collaboration and innovation that defined Expo 2020.
The museum highlights everything from Expo 2020’s inception and bid, masterplan design and site construction, the challenges of the pandemic and postponement, through to the historic opening ceremony and six-month event. Celebrating Expo 2020’s scale, spectacle and significance, it also honours the World Expo’s impacts and ongoing legacy.
For those intending to explore the museum, guided tours are available every half-hour. Situated in the Opportunity District, the museum also includes a shop offering Expo 2020 memorabilia. Visitors can collect country stamps in Expo passports, access the Expo 2020 library, and more.

While entry is free on 18 and 19 May, starting 20 May, access to the museum will be part of Expo City's Attractions Pass, priced at Dhs 120. Alternatively, visitors can purchase a combined ticket for the Expo 2020 Museum and the three Stories of Nations exhibits.
