RTA Announces An Update For Affected Metro Stations

RTA

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that Dubai Metro services will resume normal operations at stations affected by the recent severe weather event from 28 May. Stations including Onpassive, Equiti, Mashreq, and Energy, will resume regular services after completing all necessary maintenance and safety checks to ensure the highest operation standards and efficiency.

RTA is committed to promptly returning Dubai Metro services at the impacted stations to their usual condition, prioritising passenger and asset safety and security. This endeavour aims to provide uninterrupted transportation services aligned with leading global standards. Collaborative efforts with Keolis and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, responsible for Dubai Metro's operation and maintenance, ensure the effective execution of these initiatives.

During this period, RTA will maintain direct bus services with over 150 buses until normal metro operations resume. These buses will operate on three routes within metro operation hours, facilitating passenger travel between the Business Bay Metro Station to Onpassive, Mall of the Emirates, Mashreq, Equity, Dubai Internet City, and Al Khail Metro Stations.
