For passenger safety, Dubai Airports, Emirates Airline, and flydubai have issued travel advice regarding the unstable weather conditions.
Dubai Airports urges travellers flying from Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) to plan ahead due to unsettled weather conditions today, 2 May.
To prevent possible delays from road congestion, authorities advise using smart apps for traffic updates and alternative routes. The authorities also recommend using the Dubai Metro to reach DXB Terminals 1 and 3.
Besides this, travellers are urged to check their flight status with their airline and consider arriving at the airport earlier than usual to accommodate for any delays or queues caused by the weather. Lastly, it advises travellers to plan extra time for check-in, security, and boarding processes.
Emirates Airline And flydubai Issue Travel Advisory
