Travel analysts at Bounce have analysed social media trends, search popularity, and average flight and hotel expenses to compile a list of the finest destinations for weddings abroad, with Dubai proudly claiming its spot in the top 10.
Dubai gained an impressive sixth spot on the ranking, scoring 7.31 out of 10 for weddings. As per the data, Dubai was third on the list of most popular wedding destinations on social media, with 620,600 social media posts and 31,800 Google searches about weddings in Dubai. The report further stated that August is the ideal month for hosting a wedding in the city, with average room rates at Dhs 437.
How Was The List Made?
The team at Bounce began by compiling a list of popular wedding destinations from articles on sites like Hitched and Harpers Bazaar. They then checked Instagram and TikTok for hashtag counts and used Google Keyword Planner for search data.
After that, they standardised scores for each factor and averaged them to determine the wedding score. Additionally, they gathered venue capacities and starting prices from Wedinspire to calculate the price per person.
