Following the heavy rains in the UAE from 15 to 17 April, life is gradually returning to normal for residents. And now, in a recent update, the local emergency, crisis, and disaster management team in Sharjah has announced the full resumption of in-person education at all educational institutions in the Emirate of Sharjah. This reinstatement will take effect from the upcoming Monday, 29 April.
This update follows a recent decision by the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) to implement a flexible education system from 23 to 25 April. During this time, schools in Sharjah were given the flexibility to offer hybrid, in-person, or distance learning options for students.
However, now, as Sharjah returns to normalcy and reopens all roads previously closed due to heavy rains, schools will also resume their regular operations starting next week.
The announcement reflects the collective efforts of educational institutions and government bodies in swiftly addressing the aftermath of the recent adverse weather conditions experienced in the country.
