The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued the weather forecast for the week, spanning from today, Monday, 22 April, to Friday, 26 April, predicting light-to-moderate rainfall in certain regions of the UAE. Today, 22 April, Monday, residents might witness light rain over the island areas and some western areas. On Tuesday, 23 April, there's an increased chance of light to moderate showers, particularly in the eastern regions.
Whereas, Wednesday, 24 April, is expected to have partly cloudy skies with a slight chance of light rain in the far northeastern areas by noon, accompanied by a potential temperature drop. On Thursday, 25 April, UAE will experience partly cloudy conditions transitioning to occasional cloud cover in the afternoon, especially in the far northern and eastern regions, with a possibility of light rain.
The forecast for Friday, 26 April, includes the formation of convective clouds in the east, possibly resulting in rainfall over the mountains during the afternoon. NCM continues to monitor the weather situation closely and advises the public to stay updated for any changes in the forecast.
Temperature-wise, Monday may see highs of up to 40ºC in internal areas and lows of 13ºC in mountainous regions. Abu Dhabi and Dubai are expected to experience maximum temperatures of 35ºC and 36ºC, respectively, with minimum temperatures of 20ºC and 22ºC.
