Abu Dhabi Media Office

Following the UAE's record-breaking rainfall, the country is now moving into the recovery phase. However, it seems like the rainfall is back on the cards. The UAE's National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has released a weather forecast for the upcoming week.

According to the NCM forecast, Tuesday, 23 April, will see partly cloudy conditions overall, with occasional cloud cover and a possibility of rainfall in scattered areas across the country.

In its five-day forecast, the NCM has predicted gentle to moderate winds on Tuesday, initially from the northeast to the southeast, then moving to the northwest. Wind speeds may reach 15kph to 25kph, with gusts up to 40kph. There's also a likelihood of decreased temperatures in certain coastal areas. Expect humidity at night and into Wednesday morning, possibly leading to mist formation in select coastal and inland regions.

What Will The Weather Look Like Over The Weekend

On Saturday, 20 April, the weather is expected to be generally fair, with occasional cloud cover, particularly in the afternoon, possibly leading to some rain clouds forming over the mountains. It will be humid at night and into Sunday morning, with a chance of fog or mist in certain coastal and inland regions.

Moving to Sunday, 21 April, expect generally fair to partly cloudy weather conditions, and humid at night going into Monday morning in certain coastal and inland areas. Winds will be light to moderate, blowing from the southeast to northeast, with speeds ranging from 10kph to 20kph occasionally reaching up to 30kph.
