Dubai Announces Parking Hours, Public Transport Timings And More For Ramadan

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has released the operating hours for all services during the Holy Month of Ramadan, including customer happiness centres, paid parking zones, public buses, Dubai Metro and Dubai Tram and service provider centres.

Customer Happiness Centres

  • During Ramadan, customer happiness centres in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Tawar, and Al Manara will operate from Monday to Thursday, from 9am to 5pm, and on Friday from 9am to noon. 
  • Smart customer happiness centres in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Kifaf, and RTA’s HQ will maintain their regular round-the-clock operations.

Dubai Metro Timing Schedule:

There are no changes in the timings for both the metro and tram services

  • Monday to Thursday: 5am to midnight.
  • Friday: 5am to 1am (next day).
  • Saturday: 5am to midnight.
  • Sunday: 8am to midnight.

Tram Timing Schedule:

  • Monday to Sunday: 6am to 1am (Next Day).
  • Sunday: 9am to 1am (Next Day).

Public Parking In Dubai 

For public parking, tariffs will be applied to all parking zones from Monday to Saturday, with first shift being 8am to 6pm and the second one being 8pm to midnight. Free parking will be available from 6pm to 8pm during Iftar.

In Barsha Heights parking zone F, fees will only be applicable from 8am to 6pm, allowing free parking until 8am the next day. Multi-storey car parking operates 24/7. However, fees apply all day and night during Ramadan. 

Dubai Bus Timings 

Dubai Bus timings on weekdays will operate as follows: 

  • Monday to Friday: 4.30am to 12.30am (next day).
  • Saturday to Sunday: 6am to 1am (next day).
