UAE residents woke up to heavy to moderate showers across different parts of Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah, with continued downpours overnight in Al Ain and Abu Dhabi. Hailstones were reported in many parts of Al Ain and UAE's dedicated storm chasers, storm_ae shared videos on their social media showing hail showers and hailstones in Al Ain.
NCM has also issued an orange alert for Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, and a yellow alert is in place in Dubai and Fujairah. Heavy rainfall has been reported in Nahil, Al I shoush in Al Ain and along the Al Ain-Dubai Road. In Abu Dhabi, heavy rainfall has been reported in Mohamed Bin Zayed City. Abu Dhabi Police have issued warnings and advised motorists to exercise caution while travelling, particularly on the roads, due to reduced visibility and potential hazards caused by inclement weather conditions.
As per NCM forecasts, the weather will be dusty and cloudy, accompanied by convective clouds, leading to rainfall over scattered areas of the country, with a decrease in temperatures. Maximum temperatures will range between 25°C to 30°C in coastal and internal areas by afternoon.
Humidity is expected to increase by night. On Wednesday morning, with a probability of mist formation.
The sea is expected to be moderate to rough, with clouds in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
