UAE's noted attraction, Yas Waterworld in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, is undergoing a significant transformation. Abu Dhabi's leading developer, Miral has revealed plans for a grand makeover, with a 16,900 square metre expansion set to be completed by 2025. The enhancements include the addition of 3.3 kilometres of new slide sections, aiming to increase guest capacity by 20%.
Additionally, the park will showcase 18 fresh rides and attractions, bringing the total count to over 60 exciting experiences. Among these, the waterpark will boast the UAE's tallest slide and the GCC region's inaugural waterpark ride integrated into a waterslide complex. This particular water ride offers a thrilling 15-metre-high drop, accommodating up to 20 guests.

Yas Waterworld, Yas Island in Abu Dhabi tells the tale of 'The Legend of the Lost Pearl', highlighting the UAE's rich pearl-diving history. And with the new expansion, the park will also feature the 'Lost City', which showcases passages intertwined with attractions. Features of the new expansion include a swim-up bar, a boat ride, racing and tube slides, family raft rides and a duelling master blaster. The expansion aims to cater to children, by providing smaller scaled rides.
