His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has issued an instruction to allocate Dhs 50 million in humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian population. The aid will be channelled through the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI).
The aid comes as part of the UAE's policy to provide urgent relief and assistance to vulnerable populations and those in need around the world in times of crisis.
In addition to this effort, the UAE has initiated 'Tarahum' (Compassion) to deliver humanitarian relief packages to Palestinian families and children who have been impacted by the conflict, as reported by the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
The Emirates Red Crescent has established donation centres in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, and Fujairah. These centres are collecting essential items like food, hygiene materials, and health supplies for humanitarian relief packages.
For residents in Abu Dhabi, there are several designated locations where you can contribute aid to the Emirates Red Crescent. These include Emirates Red Crescent Headquarters, Carrefour on Airport Road, Marina Mall Caravan, Shahama, Baniyas Co-operative Society, Khalifa City, Baniyas City, and Al Shawamekh.
In Dubai, residents can contribute to the cause at various locations, including Emirates Red Crescent Headquarters in Al Quoz, Umm Ramool, Al Garhoud, Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Al Shindagha, City Centre Meaisem, City Centre Mirdif and Arabian Centre.
