Started by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai in 2017, this premier fitness event is gearing up for an even more impressive edition this year.
Whether you're an experienced athlete or a beginner looking to embark on a healthier journey, this challenge provides an opportunity to join one of the world's largest fitness events that consistently sparks tremendous public excitement each time it takes place.
DFC is a month-long, city-wide initiative that encourages residents and visitors to dedicate 30 minutes to daily physical activity for 30 days. This year's edition, set to be the largest yet, will showcase three 30-day fitness villages. Among them is the beloved DP World Kite Beach Fitness Village, a vibrant hub of sports and fitness activities situated in one of Dubai's iconic coastal locations.
There will also be the all-new RTA Mushrif Park Cycle Centre, complete with guided bike trails, a pump track and free bike hire, plus Run and Ride Central presented by Meraas, which will serve as the ultimate destination for clubs, top brands, and all those keen on the lifestyle benefits of running and cycling.
Featuring 600 complimentary fitness sessions and an extensive schedule of over 400 hours of activities over the course of a month, these fresh venues will provide ideal options for individuals looking for convenient access to fitness classes to help achieve their 30X30 fitness goals, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of Dubai's renowned skyline.
The challenge will include 25 community fitness hubs spread across the city, such as Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), Hatta, Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), and Dubai Police Officers Club. These hubs will provide free sports activities and fitness classes. Additionally, the Dubai Ride presented by DP World is making a comeback on Sunday, 12 November.
Adding to the excitement, Dubai Run, presented by Mai Dubai and supported by Sun and Sand Sports, will also be back, with participants winding down Sheikh Zayed Road. Marking the culmination of DFC on Sunday, 26 November, it will offer families, aspiring runners, and professionals the chance to be a part of the world's largest free fun run.
