The Burj2Burj half marathon offers runners a picturesque route that begins at the iconic Burj Al Arab along scenic, palm tree-lined roads of Jumeirah. As participants reach the halfway mark, they will cross the Dubai Canal bridge, taking them on a journey towards the vibrant Downtown area. The grand finale awaits beneath the awe-inspiring Burj Khalifa.
Throughout the course, runners will find essential amenities such as water stations and medical assistance readily available. In addition to these necessities, participants can look forward to engaging activations, live DJ performances, exciting challenges, and numerous spots for their loved ones to provide enthusiastic support from the sidelines.
Burj2Burj run will host around 10,000 runners, and registrations for the run are now open. The enrolment fee is Dhs 168, so hurry and book your slot now. The fun run will start at 6.05am, and there are tons of categories that one can register for. Elite runners (men) will set off at 6am, followed by the elite female group at 6.02am, and everyone else follows from 6.05am.
The race will take place on 21 January, and between 19 and 20 January, you can head to Burj Park to collect your race bib and goodie bag. So hurry, register now.
