The Emirates Dubai 7s, a much-anticipated sports and entertainment festival in the UAE, is gearing up to introduce its inaugural padel tournament. This exciting addition will take place from 1 to 3 December, allowing players of all skill levels to sign up and participate in this unique competition. The event will feature five specially designed padel courts located at The Sevens Stadium, promising an exceptional experience for all participants.
If you are eager and wanting to participate, do note that players can select from eight categories, namely Team Open Competitive (C), Team Open Social (D), Men's Open Competitive (C), Men's Open Social (D). For women the teams are Women's Competitive (C+), Women's Challenger (C-), Women's Open Social (D).
Parents who intend to join the event with their children, aged eight to 14, can enrol in the Parent & Kids Social team. There's a diverse array of categories to choose from, including Rebound and Padel. The Emirates Dubai 7s provides an excellent platform for players of all levels, whether they're beginners, intermediates, or seasoned experts, to engage in friendly competition and demonstrate their abilities at the region's most prominent sports and entertainment extravaganza.
During the tournament, each team will partake in minimum three games during the group stage, and formats will vary by category, ensuring an exciting experience for players of all ages.
For most categories, there will be six games to a set in the group stage and nine in the knockout stages, while the parent and kids categories, will feature four games to a set in the group stage and six in the knockout stages.

In terms of pricing, teams will receive an early bird discount if they sign up right away, with entry fees costing Dhs 350 per person and Dhs 115 for kids. From 7 October, entry fees will be Dhs 390 per person. All entry fees include general admission access to the Emirates Dubai 7s festival weekend.
The padel tournament will be among a range of exciting sporting action during the festival, with the world’s best rugby sevens nations heading to Dubai to kick off the newly revamped HSBC SVNS series, in addition to amateur rugby, netball, cricket, and fitness competitions taking place across the weekend.
