Youngsters who wish to join the UAE government as Youth Minister can apply for the position by emailing the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler Of Dubai, posted about this new job announcement on X, formerly known as Twitter.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed, in the post, said, "To our young men and women in the UAE. I am looking for a distinguished young man or woman who represents youth issues, conveys their opinions, and follows up on government files that interest them, to be a Minister/Minister of Youth with us in the UAE government."
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed also mentioned the qualities he is looking for and added, "We want them to be knowledgeable about the issues of their homeland, aware of the reality of their society, field-based in their work, rational in his approach, brave and strong in representing their country, and passionate about serving the soil of their homeland."
The announcement was made on Sunday, 25 September, and the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers announced that by 6pm, they had already received 4,700 applications for the position.
