An Emirati humanitarian team continues to distribute food aid to Sudanese refugees in Amdjarass, Chad.
The team visited the village of Jouni and supplied underprivileged families with food parcels.
Around 2,500 parcels were distributed to over 15,000 people.
The team distributing food in Chad consist of the Emirates Red Crescent, the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, and the UAE's Chad-based aid coordination office.
The aid by the UAE, is following the conflict between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the parliamentary group called the Rapid Support Forces that began on 15 April in Sudan, leading to many people seeking refuge in neighbouring countries like Chad.
