During the first half of 2023, there has been an increase in the number of passengers travelling to and from Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH).
Over 10 million passengers travelled through the airport from 1 January to 30 June, when compared to 6 million people during the same period in 2022, an increase of 67%.
During the first six months of the year, around 67,000 flights took off from the airport, an increase of 36% compared to over 49,000 flights during the first half of 2022.
The top five destinations passengers travelled to from AUH in the first half of 2023 were Mumbai, London, Delhi, Kochi and Doha.
