The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has sent aid to help people affected by wildfires in the rural areas of Northern Latakia, Syria.
Four firefighting vehicles and two ambulances, as well as medications for burns and pain relief, were sent to the Syrian Arab Red Crescent in Latakia.
The UAE Embassy in Damascus has also inaugurated its first Coordination Office for Foreign Aid in Syria, which aims to provide aid to people in Syria, as well as monitor charitable projects. The office in Syria is the first one established by the UAE, with more to open in several other countries.
